Our mission is to bring the hope of Christ to dark, dangerous, and despised places of the world by raising up Unusual Soldiers .


Vision Statement:

Our wild dream is to launch disciple-making initiatives all across the globe in areas that are feared or ignored by others. We strive to impact these risky places by training up students to become unusual soldiers, by creating events that awaken, train, and mobilize them to the field.


Our Strategy:

Awakening

This strategy is awaken others to our calling and includes the following tactics:

SPEAKING EVENTS
Caleb speaks for Kingdom Building Ministries in a number of different venues each year. (www.kbm.org)

MEDIA
Students can get awakened to the ministry of Unusual Soldiers through articles, radio interviews, online videos, or our blog at www.crazyblood.com

MERCHANDISE
Students can get acquainted with Unusual Soldiers through our online store (coming soon).

Mobilizing

This strategy is for select students that we feel are ready to launch a disciple-making initiative.

SLINGSHOT : Strategic Training
This is a 3-5 day strategizing program for a select few students that have been through Stranded, Submerge, and have a vision to pursue. This training event takes place at the Unusual Soldiers base in Nebraska.

SLINGSHOT INTERNATIONAL: Strategic Training
This one week of intense training is usually taught to no more than thirty radical-spirited nationals at a time. It's all of the Unusual Soldiers training simplified and packed into a classroom format.

SCOUTING TRIPS
Unusual Soldiers thrives on pioneering new ground. Our scouting trips are the key to launching more initiatives into more places.

"THE EXODUS"
This is not a training event but rather a moment at some our training events. Momentarily at the close of a Slingshot training event individuals will be immediately sent out to launch their initiatives in a dark, dangerous, or despised place.

Training

This strategy is for core students that are serious about Christ and Missions and includes the following tactics:

STRANDED: Basic Training
A one week basic training wilderness program for young adults in the United States. This program preps them for the spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional demands of being an Unusual Soldier. A one week program that unpacks who an Unusual Soldier is and what he/she does.

SUBMERGE: Advanced Training
A ten day journey that takes a handful of students overseas to be trained and gives them an opportunity to minister in a dark, dangerous, or despised place.

TRAINING MANUALS
Unusual Soldiers Training Manuals are available for participants at most of the Unusual Soldiers training events.
