Training On How To Avoid and Survive Hostile Encounters IN High-Risk Locations on the Mission Field.

What is a Shrewd event?

If you have a desire to bring hope, help, or healing to a potentially hostile region of the world then this type of training event is a must! At Unusual Soldiers, we understand the unique calling of going to hostile regions to do missions work. However, we believe engaging these places should be done wisely. At a SHREWD event you will learn how to avoid and survive potentially dangerous human encounters. This event is put on in your area and the training is done by missionaries and military personnel (SERE Specialist) through multi-media presentations, interactive discussions, and live environment training. At the close of the event, you will leave equipped with the knowledge and skills you need to help you “escape the wolves.”

Mitigate Risk.

Travel Confidently.

Here are a few questions that will be answered at SHREWD:

What preparations should you make before you engage in a hostile region?

What T.H.R.E.A.T.S. should you be aware of?

How do you avoid a tech-threat?

How do you discern God’s voice when taking a risk?

How do you survive a rebel attack?

How do you avoid enemy surveillance?

How do you survive if you are taken into captivity?

What do you do if an active shooter strikes?

SHEEP AMONG WOLVES…

In Matthew 10, Jesus said to his disciples that they would be sent out like sheep among wolves. This was probably not the most thrilling news, because sheep have no way to defend themselves against a wolf. They have no front teeth to bite with, no roar to intimidate with, no speed to outrun with, and no camouflage to hide with. Their big fluffy white wool is like a fast-food logo for a hungry wolf. But then Jesus followed up with this instruction: You must be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Not only did he emphasize the importance of obedience to his disciples, but he also emphasized the need to be crafty, so they didn’t end up becoming the next item on the menu.
