SLINGSHOT

Slingshot is strategic training for those that are ready to engage a difficult region.

Slingshot is pretty much, all classroom.  It is a series of powerpoint seminars that are aimed to give students the start to finish tools they need to begin their journey as an independent missionary to a dark, dangerous, or despised place in the world.  

Those that attend Slingshot tend to be go-getters with a strong commitment to God, and an echoing burden for a dark corner of the world.  During Slingshot you will join other daring dreamers that have graduated Stranded and are on the edge of taking a leap like you.  This rare fellowship is often just as valuable as the training.  

It's advised that you come with a dark corner of the world in mind.  This region will serve as your focal point as you develop a strategy throughout the week.  As the week progresses, you will be researching your region, receiving training on missional topics, and be developing a strategy.  If you have a team or a spouse that are planning on endeavoring with you then this training is open to them as well (even if they did not go through Stranded).

At the close of Slingshot, students will be challenged to present their vision to the class on a "napkin".  This process will give each student the opportunity to share their vision and adjust it before they leave.
