THE MAASAI WHO WENT 10X

I was amazed on our last trip when I met up with a Maasai friend named Isaac. He sadly lost his wife last year and life had it challenges, but his face lit up as he told me about the church that he planted through an event we did 20 years ago call “The Exodus.” He then shared how the church he planted 20 years ago had planted another one…and another one…and another one…etc. The church he planted 20 years ago had gone 10x.

Issac was just one of thirty pastors sent out during the exodus. It was told to us on our last trip the Exodus event was an explosion throughout Maasailand. Denominations came together and were sent out together to start disciple-making-movements and through the power of the Holy Spirit they did it. Regions of darkness are now regions of light. An explosion of churches has rippled through the land. And it appears that the dream of seeing the statistics changed…actually happened. God did it!

We hope to visit and document the new churches in the future.
